Types of Data collected
Among the types of personal data that Cruip collects, by itself or through third parties, are cookies, usage data, and email address. Depending on how you use Cruip, we may also process related account and purchase information such as order history and download entitlements.
Personal data may be freely provided by the user, or, in the case of usage data, collected automatically when using Cruip. Unless specified otherwise, all data requested by Cruip is mandatory and failure to provide it may make it impossible for Cruip to provide its services.

Methods of processing
The owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction of the data. Data processing is carried out using computers and IT-enabled tools, following organizational procedures strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the owner, data may be accessible to people involved in operating Cruip or to external service providers appointed as processors where necessary.

Retention time
Personal data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose it was collected for. Once the retention period expires, personal data shall be deleted.

Data is collected to provide Cruip's services, including account access, purchases and downloads, customer support, transactional email, newsletter communication when you subscribe, and site operation and security.

Payments
Stripe processes payments for purchases made on Cruip.com. When you check out, Stripe may collect payment card details, billing information, and related transaction data on our behalf.
Personal data collected may include email address, payment information, and purchase details.

Registration and authentication
Cruip uses email-based magic-link authentication so you can access your account and downloads. We store account and session information needed to identify you and keep you signed in.
Personal data collected: email address, and cookies or similar technologies used for session management.
Transactional email
Resend is used to send transactional messages such as sign-in links and purchase-related emails.
Personal data collected: email address and message metadata.

Newsletter and marketing email
If you subscribe to the Cruip newsletter, your email address is managed with Brevo so we can send product updates and related communications. You can unsubscribe using the link included in those emails.

Hosting, databases, and downloads
Cruip is hosted on infrastructure providers that process technical and account-related data as needed to operate the website, store customer records, and deliver purchased download assets securely.
Personal data collected may include email address, usage data, IP address, and system logs used for operation, security, and maintenance.
Contacting the user
When you email us or otherwise contact Cruip, we use the details you provide to respond to your request.

The rights of Users
Users may exercise certain rights regarding their data processed by the owner. In particular, users have the right to do the following:
- Withdraw their consent at any time. Where they have previously given consent to the processing of their personal data.
- Object to processing of their data. If the processing is carried out on a legal basis other than consent.
- Access their data. Learn if data is being processed, obtain disclosure, and obtain a copy of the data undergoing processing.
- Verify and seek rectification. Verify the accuracy of their data and ask for it to be updated or corrected.
